This policy explains what personal information Charmamore collects when you visit charmamore.com or shop with us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it to what we genuinely need to run the shop.
Who we are

What we collect
- Order details: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number if you give it, and what you bought.
- Payment details: card payments are handled securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages: anything you send us by email or through our chat assistant.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser type and approximate country, which we use to keep the site secure and to show prices in your local currency.
- Account details: if you create an account, your login details and order history.
How we use it
- To process, ship and track your order, and to handle returns and refunds.
- To answer your questions and give customer support.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
- To keep the records we’re required to keep by law, such as sales and tax records.
- To send you news and offers, but only if you’ve agreed to it. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We only share what’s needed with the trusted companies that help us run the shop:
- Our fulfilment partner and delivery carriers, who receive your name, address and phone number so they can prepare and deliver your parcel.
- Stripe, which processes card payments.
- Google, only for visitors outside the UK and Europe: general questions typed into our chat assistant may be answered using Google’s Gemini AI. We remove email addresses and long numbers before anything is sent, order lookups and returns are always handled on our own systems, and Google may use these messages to improve its services. Visitors in the UK and Europe are helped by our own built in assistant only. Please don’t share card details or passwords in the chat.
- Our hosting, security and email providers, including Cloudflare, which keep the website running and protected.
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
Some of these partners are based outside your country, including in the United States and China. Where that happens, we take steps to make sure your information stays protected.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep your basket, run checkout, remember your currency and keep you logged in. The site doesn’t work properly without them. We don’t use advertising cookies at the moment, and if we add any in future we’ll ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we’re legally required to for tax and accounting, usually up to 7 years. Other information, such as support emails, is kept only as long as it’s useful, and then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the UK, the European Union and California, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to or limit how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time;
- receive your information in a portable format.
We don’t sell or share personal information for cross context advertising. To use any of these rights, email [email protected] and we’ll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Our shop isn’t aimed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new date at the top.
